Urinary catheter. A permanent urinary catheter seen inserted into the penis of a 75 year-old male patient debilitated after a stroke (or cerebrovascular accident). Urinary catheters are sterile tubes inserted into the bladder to drain urine. Patients with urinary incontinence due to neurological disorders, in this case through stroke, are given permanent catheters.
