Thornapple (Datura stramonium) flower. This plant is believed to have medicinal properties. The seeds and leaves are prepared as a fluid extract, tincture (spirit solution) or cigarettes, and are used as a neurosedative and, when smoked, as an anti-asthmatic. However, the plant also contains poisonous chemicals similar to those found in henbane and belladonna, and is not recommended for use in the home.
