Electrocardiography. Nurse stands beside the bed of an 87-year-old man undergoing an electrocardiography (ECG) examination. Electrodes, attached to his chest, arm and leg, are measuring the electrical activity of his heart. The results are recorded by the ECG machine next to his bed.
