Computerised anatomy atlas. Researchers studying a digital image of the brain, part of a project aimed at storing structural information on human bodies in digital form to create a computer-based anatomy atlas. The atlas may be used for training, or for developing new surgical techniques. The researchers shown here developed the system. They are (left to right): Jeff Prothero, Dr John Prothero and John Sundsten. This project was created at the Department of Biological Structure at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
