Surgery. A masked surgery team perform an operation to correct an abdominal aortic aneurism. Three surgeons are seen (at centre) operating on the patient with an assistant at right. Aortic aneurysm is an abnormal ballooning of an artery caused by blood pressure on a weakened aortic wall. Arterial reconstructive surgery is used to repair weakened arteries.
