Astragalus missouriensis var. Missouri Milkvetch. It is one of the locoweeds, and is toxic to sheep and cattle if eaten. The species as a whole is found from eastern NM, western TX and the plains states to west of the Rockies. Photo taken in Black Rock Canyon, Apache Co., AZ.
