Coronary artery bypass surgery. Close-up of the surgical procedure to create a bypass across one of the diseased coronary arteries of the heart. A dissected coronary artery can be seen being sutured on the surface of the heart. In this type of surgery, a leg or arm vein may be used to bypass a narrowed or blocked part of a coronary artery.
