Cosmetic breast surgery. Surgeon pumping saline solution through a syringe to inflate a breast implant during breast enlargement surgery (augmentation mammoplasty). The inflatable implant has been inserted either behind the breast just above the pectoralis muscle or behind this muscle above the ribcage. The size of the breasts after this type of implant has been implanted can be controlled via the volume of saline the surgeon adds. This type of implant is becoming more widely used as it has less health risks associated with it than silicone implants.
