Zoloft (Sertraline), one of the most widely used antidepressants, is often prescibed to treat obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD). It acts by retaining a large amount of neurotransmitter seratonin in the brain. If combined with MAO inhibitors, serious reactions can occur. Since its introduction in 1991, Zoloft has become a popular street drug.
