Painkiller tablets. Tablets of paracetamol, a painkilling (analgesic) drug, with the tub from which they have been taken. Paracetamol is commonly used against head-aches, general pains and fever. The groove down the middle of each tablet is used to help split the tablet in half if a low dose is required (for a child for example). Paracetamol does not have an anti-inflammatory effect.
