Coltsfoot flower (Tussilago farfara). This plant is used in herbal medicine in the treatment of coughs, respiratory problems and chest complaints. A poultice from the flowers is used to treat skin disorders such as eczema, ulcers, sores, bites and inflammations. Photographed in April, in Cairngorms National Park, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, UK.
