Puncture vine (Tribulus terrestris) flowers. This plant, also known as caltrop, devil's thorn and goathead, is native to warm temperate and tropical regions of southern Europe, Asia, Africa and northern Australia. The extract from this plant is used to treat headaches and premature ejaculation, calm the liver and build muscle. Photographed in Pichincha, Ecuador.
