Radiation therapy machine, with guide beams switched on. This machine is used to treat malignant (cancerous) tumours. Radiotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that can be used on a wide range of cancers. In radiotherapy, cancerous cells are destroyed by targeting radiation beams at tumours.
