Garden angelica (Angelica archangelica). This plant is used in herbal medicine as a treatment for digestive disorders. It is also used as an ingredient in cakes and jams, particularly in the Nordic countries. Garden angelica actually grows wild in northern parts of Scandinavia, but is also cultivated in warmer countries such as France.
