Faith healer. Pentecostalist religious healer with a child AIDS patient. Pentecostalism is a fundamentalist evangelical movement of Christianity. It emphasises "speaking in tongues" and divine healing. AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is the final stage of infection with the human immunodeficiency virus, HIV. The virus attacks the immune system, leaving the patient increasingly vulnerable to further infections. Photographed in a hospital in Bujumburg, Burundi.
