Watsu. Female patient & therpaist performing underwater stretches in a pool. This alternative therapy was developed by Harold Dull in 1980 based on the movements of Zen Shiatsu. It utilizes the relaxing effects of warm water with the therapeutic nature of the Shiatsu stretching. Watsu also involves holding (cradling) by the therapist, which is said to provide a feeling of security and contentment.
