Nightingale faeces beauty treatment. Beauty therapist applying a face treatment made from dried nightingale bird (Luscinia megarhynchos) faeces, white clay and water. This traditional skincare treatment has been used for centuries by Japanese kabuki actors and geisha to remove heavy makeup and as a facemask.
