Dental check-up. A child undergoes a dental examination. A dental mirror is seen in the child's mouth. Children should have their teeth examined regularly, about every six months. This ensures that the dentist monitors the emergence and replacement of primary (milk) teeth and detects any other problems, such as over- crowding of teeth.
