False teeth manufacture. Technician examines a set of freshly moulded acrylic false teeth. The teeth have come from a handcrafted stainless steel mould. False teeth are fixed onto dental implants screwed into the jaw to replace teeth that have been knocked out or removed. They are also used to form dental bridges, where false teeth are attached to natural teeth on either side of a gap left by missing teeth. Teeth of various shapes, sizes and tones are manufactured to make sure they look as natural as possible in each individual's mouth. Once these teeth have been hand polished they are ready for use. Photographed at Ivoclar in Liechtenstein.
