Teeth whitening. Dentist using a laser to whiten a patient's teeth. The laser activates hydrogen peroxide that has been applied to the patient's teeth in a gel. The hydrogen peroxide bleaches the patient's teeth. Teeth can become stained by drinks, such as red wine or coffee, smoking, nerve degeneration or age. The effects can last up to 3 years.
