Teeth can become sensitive when the enamel covering the crown (visible part, dark grey) of the tooth wears away to expose the underlying dentin. If left untreated the holes may enlarge forming cavities. Treatment is with the use of a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Magnification: x1660 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
