Triplets. Three non- identical boys sitting on a step. These siblings were born as a result of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment. IVF often results in multiple births as a number of fertilised eggs (ova) are implanted in the mother's womb, to increase the chance of pregnancy. These ova are fertilised outside her body using a sperm sample, from her partner or an anonymous donors.
