Post-natal check-up. Midwife palpating a woman's abdomen during a post-natal check-up at home. This may be to make sure that the uterus is in its correct position and there is no inflammation. Post-natal checks to assess the health of the mother and baby are made up to 6 weeks after childbirth. The woman is wearing a nursing bra which allows her to breastfeed without having to remove the bra. There are nursing pads within the bra to soak up any leakages of breast milk.
