Caption

Keyhole surgery. Surgeons examining a woman's reproductive organs for signs of infertility, using minimally invasive 'keyhole' surgery. They are using an endoscope, inserted through a small hole in the abdomen wall, to obtain a view of the body interior on the screen (upper centre). This view is used to monitor the surgical instruments inserted by the same method. Photographed at the Ste Isabelle's Clinic, France.
