Tendon. Arthroscope (endoscope) view of a healthy human tendon (running horizontally) at the shoulder joint. Its blood supply is seen at lower right. This tendon links the biceps muscle of the upper arm to the shoulder blade (scapula). Tendons can also attach muscle to muscle. They are made of inelastic connective tissue, mainly consisting of bundles of collagen.
