Mesenteric capillaries. Light micrograph of a section through healthy human mesentery, showing blood capillaries (branching brown structures). The mesentery is a membrane that attaches several abdominal organs, including the small intestine and stomach, to the back wall of the abdomen. It contains the blood and lymph vessels and the nerves that supply these organs. Haematoxylin and eosin stain. Magnification unknown.
