Caption

Healthy heart. Computer enhanced pulmonary angio- gram X-ray of a healthy patient, showing the heart (pink). Lung fields appear blue on either side of the heart. To obtain this pulmonary angiogram, an X-ray opaque dye was injected through a catheter (blue line, upper right). The dye was introduced into the right atrium (an upper chamber of the heart) to outline the atrium, the right ventricle (below the atrium) and the main pulmonary artery. The diaphragm (red line at bottom) separates the thorax from the abdomen.
