Slug radula. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of the surface of the radula of a slug (order Stylommatophora). The radula is a tongue- like organ found in molluscs. It is studded with rows of horny teeth (brown/blue) which are used to rasp food particles from surfaces. Magnification: x200 at 6x7cm size.
