False-colour, three-dimensional computed tomography (CT) scan of a normal human upper abdomen, showing the skeleton & viscera in different colours. Vertebrae of the spinal column & parts of the ribs appear in yellow. The stomach is in violet, extending into the duodenum (same colour). The liver appears red, the pancreas green & the spleen in blue. At bottom are both kidneys, coloured turquoise.
