This is a beautiful Coronal CT reconstruction through the abdomen showing textbook anatomical structures. The pancreas is beautifully visualized in its entirety from the head to the tail. The confluence of the splenic and superior mesenteric veins to form the portal vein which then flows through the liver is nicely illustrated in this image. The chambers of the heart filled with contrast (white) are seen at the top of the image.
