Face of a foetus. The head of a human foetus after 20 weeks (5 months) of development. The face appears completely human, with fully developed lips, eyelids and external ears. The eyebrows have also developed and fine hair on the head is visible. The crown-rump length (sitting height) of the foetus is about 19cm and its weight some 450 grams. The head of a foetus at this age is propor- tionately large compared to its body.
