Yagua Indian loading a blowgun. Such blowguns are used to hunt monkeys and other small animals. The darts fired are tipped with poisons derived from natural sources, such as toxic frogs. The Yagua inhabit the rainforest in the Amazon Basin in South America. Photographed in the Napo River region of Peru.
