Telescope of T. W. Webb. Reverend Thomas William Webb (1807-1885) was a British astronomer. He built a small wood observatory on the grounds of his vicarage and acquired a number of refractor and reflector telescopes. He used these to obtain observations and write the famous amateur astronomy guide Celestial Objects for Common Telescopes (1859).
