Astronauts Story Musgrave and Jeffrey Hoffman are seen at the end of the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm at top right. In a series of five spacewalks, the crew of the Shuttle replaced one of the HST's cameras and its solar panels, installed a corrective optics package and completed many other servicing tasks. The backdrop to this image is the coast of Western Australia. Mission STS-61 flew on 2-13 December 1993.
