Planetary conjunction. Optical image of a conjunction between the Moon and the planets Jupiter and Saturn in the constellation Taurus, seen above city lights. Saturn is above and left of the Moon, Jupiter is straight to the left of the Moon, and the bright star Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri) in Taurus is seen directly below Jupiter. The Pleiades star cluster is seen above Jupiter at top centre. Photographed in spring 2001.
