Caption

Unusual crater on Mars. View of an unusual impact crater on the surface of Mars, as seen by the Viking Orbiter 2 spacecraft. The crater is at top centre, and is about 8 kilometres across. Fractures formed during the meteor impact have produced what NASA scientists describe as a 'Happy Face'. In fact, they even went as far as to suggest that it is the "...largest known Happy Face in the Solar System.".
