Electrical conductivity test on a girl. The student is holding a wire in each hand and a current is being passed through her body. The human body is not a very efficient conductor of electricity, so the amount of current passing through is tiny. It is being measured using a picoammeter, which deals with current of order of magnitude 1 trillionth of an amp.
