Conductivity test. Image 1 of 2. Sulphur (yellow, below left of centre) is being used to complete a circuit. Sulphur is non-metallic and non- conductive so no current flows through it. Hence the light bulb remains off and the ammeter reads 0. To see the same circuit with the metal lithium instead of sulphur, go to A250/129.
