Starry sky. The top part of the frame is occupied by the constellation of Gemini whereas the pattern of the constellation of Orion is easily recognisable at bottom right. The Orion nebula (M42) is visible as a pink spot at lower centre right. At bottom left the constellation of Canis major is found. It is dominated by the presence of Sirius which is the brightest star in the sky. The brighter star at top left is Procyon, the main star of the constellation of Canis minor. The image was taken from Vancouver, Canada.
