Capella, also known as Alpha Aurigae, shines brightly towards upper left of this photograph. A conspicuous yellow giant, it is the brightest star in the constellation of Auriga & the sixth brightest in the whole night sky. It is a spectroscopic triple star & has a high lithium content.
