Caption

The Earth's rotation causes the stars to streak in this ''all night'' photograph. The colours reveal the star's age, while the angle they move across the sky tell how close they are to either the ecliptic (straight lines at left) or to Polaris, the North Star (starting to arc in upper right corner).
