The Milky Way is the galaxy, made up of some 200 to 400 billion stars and their planets, in which our Solar System is positioned. It has a mass of roughly 750 billion to one trillion solar masses and a diameter of about 100,000 light years. Taken from Mt. Lemmon, Tuscon, AZ. Camera, 400 gold, 30 min exp.
