Caption

Barred spiral galaxy NGC 1530. Coloured optical image of the barred spiral galaxy NGC 1530. The spiral arms radiate from the ends of the central bar-like structure, rather than from the nucleus as in spiral galaxies. This image was taken by the 4-metre telescope, Kitt Peak National Observatory, USA.
