M98 spiral galaxy. Optical image of the M98 spiral galaxy. Also known as NGC 4192, this edge-on galaxy is located around 60 million light years from Earth, in the constellation Coma Berenices. It has a small, bright nucleus (centre) and several regions of newly-formed stars (blue). M98 is a member of the Virgo cluster of galaxies.
