Spiral galaxy NGC 4013. Edge-on optical image of the galaxy NGC 4013, lying 55 million light-years from Earth, in the constellation of Ursa Major. The centre of the galaxy is at top left corner. The bright star (upper left) is a star belonging to our own Milky Way galaxy, which lies in the line-of-sight of NGC 4013. Photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope in January 2000.
