Spiral galaxy NGC 1350. This galaxy lies around 85 million light years from Earth in the constellation Fornax. It is not a member of the Fornax Cluster of galaxies, however, as that association lies some 20 million light years nearer Earth. The galaxy is around 130,000 light years in diameter. This image was taken by the FORS2 instrument on the Very Large Telescope (VLT) Kueyen in 2000.
