Apollo 11 photograph of Edwin E. Aldrin preparing to set up two components of the Early Apollo Scientific Experiments Package (EASEP). This package is left behind on the moon to transmit information back to earth. Apollo 11 was the first manned lunar landing mission & was launched on 16 July, 1969. It landed on the Moon on 20 July.
