Apollo 11 photograph of Edwin E. Aldrin setting up the Passive Seismic Experiment Package. This is designed to measure seismic activity on the moon which accompanies earthquakes, explosions or impact phenomena. Apollo 11 was the first manned lunar landing mission and was launched on 16 July, 1969. It landed on the Moon on 20 July.
