Apollo 16 photograph of the Lunar Module "Orion" and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) at the Descartes landing site. Commander John W. Young can be seen directly behind the LRV during a period of extravehicular activity (EVA). In the background to the left is Stone Mountain. Apollo 16 was the fifth manned lunar landing mission & was launched on April 16, 1972.
