Apollo 11 Lunar Module returning from the surface of the moon to dock with the orbiting Command Service Module, while in the background the Earth rises above the horizon of the moon. The dark area on the surface of the moon is Smith's Sea. Apollo 11, the first manned lunar mission, was launched on the 16th July & returned on 24th July 1969.
